I'm an infrequent visitor to Peterborough -- my son lives there. He's apparently been meaning to try this place, as he lives close by. I was in town and took him to lunch there.
I have to say this: I've had Caribbean food. I've had some GOOD Caribbean food. I grew up eating my parents' home cooking, and this reminds me exactly of growing up and sitting at my parents' dining room table eating their cooking. I'd eat there all day long. Highly recommended! -

Not bad. The Jamaican jerk chicken I had from Collingwood was the best yet in Ontario though. Sometimes if they dont use fresh chicken then the quality changes. Rooms for improvement.

Great food, great prices. Not the cleanest restaurant in the world but you an say that about almost every jerk stand in Jamaica and still have the best food. The owner is friendly and makes a mean roti. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Peterborough.

This is definitely one of my all time favorite restaurants!! No joke I've been coming here for about a decade and this place is the definition of delicious, warm and comforting food from a mom and pop with Heart and Soul! The veggie roti, the samosas, the doubles, the soup, and the exotic fruit juices are ALL OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

Seriously the best jerk chicken this side of Queen and Broadview. Kids loved it. Been there 3 times this month.
